Good news!

Well, for me that is... I started a new full-time job this past week, 21 months after being laid off from my last full-time job. I am very happy and relieved to finally be off of unemployment and contributing to the economy again!

My new office is right near Rockefeller Center, which means I am dangerously close to one of the most amazing Anthropologie stores. After work on Friday I wandered over to see their new holiday windows and then spent a nice hour roaming around the store. I snapped loads of photos both out- and inside. Below is just a sampling; more to follow soon.

Hi Jennifer,

I hope you're having a lovely November! Congrats on the new job, that's amazing news!

I agree, being that close to an Anthropolgie is dangerous. I just live four blocks from one. :S.

You had mentioned in a lovely comment that you may have a recommended read for my Recommend Reads series and I would love it if you would participate and share a recommendation. As you can see from the past posts (Here http://erica-knits.blogspot.com/search/label/Reading), there's no strict template. Just a picture or an illustration of your chosen book and a few words about why you love it. You had mentioned it was a library book, so if it's too much trouble for you to get a picture, I could track down a copy and take one!

If you're interested, let me know!

Best,

Erica

Congrats again on the job! While slightly insane during the holidays, that area of the city must be kind of magical too then. And thank you for the sweet comments about my new collection! You've always been so dang supportive and I appreciate it.
