Knit one.

I really love to knit but haven't yet got ambitious enough to try a sweater, gloves, mittens, or anything else complex. I've knit a couple of hats, an obi belt, and several scarves, all relatively simple. But recently I decided to venture into knitting with circular needles to see if I could make a cowl-type neck warmer in a nice chunky wool blend. Once I got going I found the continuous rounds of knit stitch to be incredibly soothing. I think I've found a new craft addiction... hopefully this style will work in cotton yarn so I can make some for my spring wardrobe too!

Wow! Looks great! What yarn did you end up using? It's fun, isn't it?
(Although, I'm a bit burnt out on cowls, since I've knit seven of them!).

Thanks Jennifer! Coming from you, the compliment is even better :)

I used Lion Yarn Wool-Ease Thick & Chunky. It's a wool & acrylic blend... I would rather have used a 100% natural yarn but I didn't get over to a yarn store and had to work with what I could get at my local crafts store. Though it is just as warm as wool! What brand of yarn do you use for yours?

Just read this blog today. I think the current fashion term for this endless scarf is called a "snood" because it looks kind of like a hood/scarf. But I love this item. If you were to sell it on Etsy that would be super!

Thanks for the compliment, Gresh! I'd be happy to make one in your choice of color...
