Cracker cuteness.
Aren't these adorable? Almost too cute to eat! I don't have to worry about that, though, because I'm too darn lazy to make them. ;)

RLM.
I have loved Robert Lee Morris' jewelry since the mid-80s. He has always had such a distinct style but his work never seems dated. Recently RLM has been collaborating with the Olson girls on jewelry for their line Elizabeth & James, which is different than his own line but still has that RLM feel. This video from New York magazine is a nice, if brief, visit to his studio. Enjoy! (PS: sorry for the commercial before the video; there's no way to avoid it. I'm also not sure why the right side of all of the videos I post is cut off. Blogger "help" wasn't much of one on the topic.)
Such fun.
I loved the new Prius commercial the first time I saw it. I know it's purpose is to sell me a car, but they did it in such a creative and original way. This video shows behind the scenes of the production. It gets a little corny in pushing the Prius philosophy a few times but is really interesting. Stay tuned at the end for the finished commercial. Such fun!

Beautiful patterns.
I love these beautiful new hand-printed Italian papers from Castle in the Air.
This one is my favorite.

A miette* about Miette.
I have been remiss in my blogging lately (think I used that word properly). A little over a month ago I found a job that's hovering between part- and full-time. I'm on my feet all day, so when I get home in the evening I've just been vegging, sometimes falling asleep very early.
In any case, I've been promising some posts about my recent trip to San Francisco, so here's a little post about one of my new favorite places in that fine city. Miette is a wonderful patisserie and confiserie with locations in the Ferry Building, Hayes Valley, and their newly opened shop in the Marina. This was the one that my sister and I paid several visits to. Not only do they have scrumptious baked treats and yummy candies both locally made and international, but the shop itself is adorable! Be sure to check out their sweet wallpaper in the third photo (click to enlarge).
*miette: French for "little crumb"
